William Raymond Burdick of Kenoza Lake earned his wings on March 8, 2023. He was the husband of Rita (Wagner) Burdick. He was 74 years old. Born on February 10, 1949 in Sidney, NY, he is the son of the late Robert Burdick Sr. and Ida (Knowlton) Burdick. He was a 1967 graduate of Sidney High School. William served in the Vietnam War as a proud Marine. He ran his own window washing business for many years and retired from Ehrlich Pest Control in 2012. William is survived by the love of his life, whom he was married to for 36 years, Rita Burdick. He is also survived by his children Angel Burdick (Dan) of Blacksburg, SC, William Burdick (Summer) of Gaffney, SC, Floyd Wagner (Sue) of Callicoon, Connie Cordner (Bill) of Sidney, George Wagner of Liberty, Chris Wagner (Cindy) of Narrowsburg, Clarence Clink (Kelly) of Rochester and Patrick King of Binghamton, as well his sister Marlene (Burdick) Cordner of Sidney, sister-in-law Helen Burdick and goddaughter Michelle (Spafford) Cruz, twenty four grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Robert Burdick, a daughter-in-law, a grandson,and a great grandson. Visitation will be on Saturday March 25, 2023 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Inc. in Jeffersonville from 2:00-4:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 4:00pm at the funeral home.
