Obituary of Beverly Joyce Bailey

On March 14th, 2023 Beverly Joyce Bailey peacefully passed from her home here on earth to her eternal home in heaven. She was born Aug 18th, 1958, in Stamford NY, the 4th daughter to Don and Doris Bailey. She spent a good portion of her life living with her parents on their dairy farm in Bainbridge NY. For the past 12 years, Beverly resided at Chase Memorial Nursing home in New Berlin NY. Beverly's passion was for God, children, and family. Before health issues moved her to Chase, Bev helped her mom care for local children and her own nieces and nephews. The common phrase used by those close to Beverly was "Full of Joy". Beverly was a joy to be around and will be remembered for her radiant smile that reached all the way to her eyes, usually accompanied with a bashful head tilt and a contagious giggle. It brings comfort to know that Beverly is in heaven with her Heavenly Father and her dad, is no longer in pain, and can freely move about without her wheelchair. Beverly was predeceased by her father Donald Bailey (2016). She is survived by her mother Doris Bailey (89) of Stamford NY, her siblings and their Spouses: Bonnie & Mark Rine-Phoenix AZ, Debra & Dan Wilson-Palm Coast FL, Donna & Steve Henry-Ft Smith AR, Allen & Debbie Bailey-Wallkill NY, David & Roni Bailey-Sidney NY, Dennis & Alana Bailey-Sidney NY, Barb & John Nober-Guilford NY, and Larry & Ruby Valentine-Sidney NY, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members, including her Chase Nursing Home family. A celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 3pm Saturday, May 13th at the Gateway Alliance Church in Sidney NY. The Bailey family sends special thanks to all the staff at Chase Nursing Home for adopting Beverly as family and for taking exceptional care of her in her final days.
