Obituary of James William Moore

James W. Moore died in his home in Treadwell, NY on December 5, 2022. Jim was born on May 4th, 1949 in Oneonta, to Celia and Hugh Moore.
Jim and the rest of the Moore family, which included Ceil, Mary, Don, Jane, Tim, and Dianne, ran the Welcome Inn, known for its great food and a good time. He continued his career in the restaurant industry in New York and California.
He is survived by his four daughters: Samantha Rogers, Abby Moore, Jessie Houshmand, and Taylor-Ann Kageyama as well as his granddaughters: Annie, Zara, Helen, and Izzy.
Jim will be remembered by friends and family for his larger-than-life personality and his wicked sense of humor.
