Obituary of Walter Jeffrey Crawford

Walter "Jeffrey" Crawford, 60 of Mt. Upton went to be with the Lord, November 25, 2022 with his loving family at his side. Jeff was born to the late Laura Genevieve Boyd and Walter Jack Crawford, on June 21, 1962 in Sidney. He attended Mount Upton Central School, where he met Angela Marie Head. She was his soul mate. They married September 17, 1983, and raised three wonderful sons. Jeff loved his boys with everything he had: Christopher Jeffrey and Jessica Ostrander; Matthew Jay and Rachel Wolcott Crawford; Joseph Benjamin and Jessica Crawford. Jeff had a special niece who he loved like a daughter, Donovan Paige Corns. He was blessed with five beautiful grandchildren, which were his whole world: Dylan Cole, Autumn Marian, Emily Mae, Madison Grace and Lillian Paige. He is also survived by brothers: Dennis and Karen Crawford; Kevin and April Crawford, and sister: Laurinda Crawford and several nieces and nephews. Jeff's passions (other than his family) were fishing, hunting, treasure hunting, going on adventures with his grandchildren, and barbequing in his back yard (making way to much food) for all his friends and neighbors to enjoy. Jeff was loved by many and will be missed by all. There will be no funeral, calling hours will be held at C.H. Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY on Wednesday November 30, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. There will be a gathering following at the Baker Garage.
