Francis (Fred) Ford, 92, of Afton, NY went to be with Lord on November 17 at Norwich Rehabilitation Center in Norwich, NY. He worked many years as a construction heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Hands of Hope Free Methodist Church, Binghamton, NY for many years. He was a great father that always put his family first. Was kind and giving, and loved by everyone who knew him. Fred was born in New Milford, NJ to Francis F. and Leona M. Ford. He was predeceased by Margaret, his wife of 69 years; son, Frederick and son-in-law, Gerald Cutmore. He is survived by his children and spouses: Linda (Bill) Davis, Afton, Susan Cutmore, Afton, Ronnie Ford, Afton, Michael Ford, Afton and David (Irina) Ford, Afton; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at C.H. Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY on Sunday November 20, 2022 from 11 am – 1 pm. A service will immediately follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be held in Glenwood Cemetery in Afton. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.landersfh.com Arrangements are under the direction of C.H Landers Chapel Sidney.
