Obituary of Sarah (Sally) O'Neil

Sarah (Sally) O'Neil passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. She was born April 16, 1946, daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Spencer) Scheidegger in Bainbridge. Sally lived most of her life in Bainbridge; she was a process engineer at the Amphenol Corp. in Sidney for 33 years, retiring in 2011. Sally travelled extensively for Amphenol, visiting China, Mexico and Malaysia. A loving mother and wife, Sally was also a lover of animals, especially her 2 dogs Dempsey and Cooper. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 56 years, Jeff; Son, Jared (late wife Gina), Daughter, Kristin (Tristan) and grandchildren: Kara, Shane, Jackson and Spencer, as well as great-granddaughter Joy. She is also survived by her siblings Catsy, Jane, Mary and Fred. Sally was also predeceased by her brother, John and sister, Alice. Friends may call August 19, 2022 from 4-6 pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Burial will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney.
