Obituary of Beatrice M. Hine

Beatrice M. Hine, age 65, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday July 31, 2022 after a short but courageous battle against cancer. Born the third of five siblings to the late Allen and Beatrice Conklin of Branchville, NJ on May 7, 1957. Beatrice is survived by her sisters, Marie Bown (SC) and Penny Foley with husband Ed (NY). Her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Ron Nemire (NY), her grandchildren Zachary Sherman, David Sherman, Jennifer Thorne and Mathew Nemire as well as her step children, nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded by her late husband, Ronald Hine and sisters Patricia DeYoung (NY) and Lida Hook (SC). Bea worked as a certified nurses aide for almost 30 years at various nursing homes such as Roscoe Nursing Home and A.O. Fox Nursing Home until switching to Home Health. She took great pride in her work and connected with so many residents and their families at a time when they needed a smiling face and a caring hand. In her spare time Bea loved to be with her family and enjoyed the simple things in life whether it be, baking, crocheting, crafting, picking at a guitar, fishing, going for long walks, visiting with friends or just sitting and watching her birds and chipmunks. She loved her family without fault and she will be missed by so many. Please join us for calling hours from 1pm-2pm Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the Sidney United Methodist Church, 12 Liberty Street, Sidney, with the memorial service to celebrate Bea immediate following at 2:00.
