Michael W. Nichols died July 6, 2022 at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich. He was born December 1, 1944, son of the late Warren and Gladys (Lent) Nichols in Sidney.
Michael graduated from Sidney Central School and attended Michigan State University. He served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. Mike was employed by Meadwestvaco from 1990 to 2009.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Norton; nieces, Bonnie (Russell) Stone and Cheryl Babcock; nephews, Joseph M. Norton and Jeffrey Norton; as well as several cousins.
Mike was also predeceased by his brother-in-law Joseph A. Norton.
Friends may call at their convenience Monday, July 11 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. There will be no services and burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney at the convenience of the family.
