Obituary of Eugene G. Gaudio

Eugene Gaudio, 87 of Masonville, passed away peacefully at home with members of his doting family by his side on Monday, June 27, 2022. A loving and stubborn man born October 7, 1934 in Brooklyn NY; Gene married the love of his life Dolores on March 22, 1952 in Brooklyn NY. They shared 62 years together. A loving, devoted Husband and Father, Gene will be deeply missed by his four children: Eugene J. & Connie Gaudio, Surprise, AZ, John Gaudio, Brentwood, Long Island NY, Donald & Luanne Gaudio, Masonville and Susan & Robert Loucks, Masonville; and his 16 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren who affectionately knew him as Pop-Pop. Faithfully Employed by Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 40 years; Gene had many talents and hobbies. He was an avid model train enthusiast, gifted wood worker, long time member of the Rockdale Gun Club. He enjoyed softball, bowling and hunting. Longingly reunited with Dolores, Gene is smoking his pipe as they banter back and forth in Heaven. Friends are invited to call from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm on Friday July 1, 2022 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 5th at the funeral chapel with Fr. Bernard Osei Ampong officiating. Burial will take place in Masonville Cemetery, Masonville.
