Obituary of Kathleen M. Crandall

Kathleen M. Crandall passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY. She was 84 years old. Kathleen was born on May 1st, 1938 in Sidney, New York. She was the youngest of two children born to her parents, Victoria and Ralph Mason. She was Married to Carlton W. Crandall and was lifelong resident of Sidney. Kathleen enjoyed a number of hobbies including horseback riding, cooking, and a love of animals. She volunteered at the Delaware Valley Humane Society for a number of years. She was a proud Democrat who was a long time member of the Delaware County Democratic Committee and earned the Delaware County 2015 Democrat of the Year award. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sharon Johnson and her great grandson Andrew Crandall. Kathleen is survived by her husband Carlton, three sons Mark (Lori), Jeffrey (Shirley), and David (Beverly) Crandall; grandchildren Scott, Thomas, Jesse, and Justin; great grandchildren Chase, Kaylynn, Dawson, and Marianna; nephews Eric, Timothy, and Christopher Knight. A memorial service will be performed at a later date.
