Theodore Alfred Tranvaag - 79, of Bainbridge, NY lost his battle with cancer on March 23, 2022 surrounded by his children. He was born on July 16, 1942 to Alfred and Grace (Tifft) Tranvaag. He married the love of his life Dawn (Buzzy) Tranvaag on October 20, 1962. Ted worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children and built their home with the help of his family and friends. He was an excellent craftsman and enjoyed remodeling his home as well as those of his children and brothers. Ted also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was the life of the party and would use any reason to raise a glass with those he loved. Ted is survived by his children, Stacey Paden of Sidney, NY, Shannon Baxter and her fiance Ron Hallick of Harpursville, NY, Lincoln Tranvaag of Sidney, NY, Selena (Michael) Palmatier of Kingfield, ME, Sabrina Drown of Guilford, NY, and Sonja (Adam) Rusweiler of Sherburne, NY, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers Daniel (Mary) Tranvaag of Oneonta, NY and Ola Tranvaag of Bainbridge, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Dawn Tranvaag, parents Alfred and Grace Tranvaag, father and mother in-law Adolph and Dorothy Buzzy, brother Laurits Tranvaag, sister Nancy Cargill and sister in-law Debra Tranvaag. A private celebration of Teds life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
