Obituary of Sharon L. Harpest

Sharon L. Harpest, 66 of Oxford, NY and formerly of Bellefontaine, OH passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Binghamton General Hospital. She was born September 3, 1955, daughter of the late Robert B. and Moreen (O'Neill) Banks in Romulus, NY. Sharon graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1973. She worked as a team Leader for Honda of America in East Liberty, OH when she retired due to health issues and moved to Oxford, NY. Sharon loved Bingo and all of her grandchildren. She always smiled and brought happiness everywhere she went. She also liked to travel and made many friends that she liked to visit. She will be missed by many friends and relatives. Sharon is survived by her husband of 32 years, Timothy Harpest, Oxford Sisters – Debra Kennedy, Bellefontaine, OH, Cindy Banks- Mattachine, Enon, OH and Tamara Watson, Atlanta Brother, Robert B. Banks, Jr. Colorado Springs, CO Step-daughters, Jennifer Russell, Kingman, AZ, Stacey Harpest, OH Aunts, June Smedley, Bainbridge and Bertha Banks, Afton 5 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon was also predeceased by her son, Preston Adkins Memorial services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Society of the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of CH Landers Funeral Chapel Sidney.
