After retirement she left TX and returned to Sidney, NY where she served in several local organizations such as Friends of the Library, Hill and Valley Garden Club, Bainbridge-Guilford Alumni Committee, as well as a supporter of the local Planned Parenthood. Pauline was a very talented woman knitting beautiful items for her family and friends. She also made homemade cards, did beautiful quilting and needlepoint. She was very proud of her family and her last two years were quite difficult with the passing of her daughter Debbie Qualls in Texas and her brother Raymond Miller in Florida. She was a joy to those who she shared time with and who enjoyed her intellectual persona. As an avid reader of books she enjoyed her local book club and their discussions. She will be truly missed. Condolences can be sent to James & Meredith Qualls, 13131 Kimberley Lane, Houston, TX 77079 to be shared with family. She will be placed at Greenlawn Cemetery in Bainbridge, NY at a time to be determined.
