Julia S. Flood Binghamton, NY Julia Sylvia Flood, 89 of Binghamton, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City. Julia was born on January 16, 1921, daughter of the late Rudolph and Julia (Toth) Pataki in Manhattan, NY. Julia married Walter Flood on June 17, 1974. He predeceased her on March 4, 1992. Julia was a longtime employee of E.C.D. of Bendix in Sidney, retiring as a shipping clerk in March of 1986, after 37 years. She also waitressed at the Rock Inn. Julia was a member of the Johnson City Senior Center. Julia is survived by: Son, Roger Angell Otego 3 Daughters, Janice Scutt Unadilla Sally Hendricks Cuyler Eloise Niemetz Liverpool As well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Julia was predeceased by two sisters, Martha Somers and Virginia Hendricks. Friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 1:00-2:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Fr. Gordon Polenz, of the Sacred Heart Church in Sidney, officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of ones choice. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com. Arrangements under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney.
