Edward Richard Gliha, Jr., 78, of Bainbridge, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Chestnut Park Rehab and Nursing Center in Oneonta. He was born on February 19, 1943 in Bainbridge, NY, son of Edward. Sr. and Agnes (Bennett) Gliha.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Edward III of Sidney and Adam and Jennie of Guilderland; two daughters, Amy of Sidney and Rachel of Albany; grandchildren: Aiden, Quinn and Finley; sister, Bunny Bateman and brother, John Gliha.
Ed served in the US Air Force and retired from Amphenol Corp. as a Process Engineer. He was married to Sheila Durkin, who predeceased him in 2011.
Ed loved his pets and enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities.
Friends are invited to call from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. A Mass of Christian Burial and committal will be scheduled in the spring.
