Obituary of Adam D. Friedman

Please share a memory of Adam to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Adam David Friedman, 38, of Unadilla, lost his battle with COVID pneumonia on Thursday, January 6, 2022. The family feels compelled to share that this tragic loss may have been prevented if he had been vaccinated against COVID-19. Adam was born on December 2, 1983 in Johnson City, NY. He attended Bainbridge and Sidney schools and graduated from NY Military Academy in Cornwall. He received his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Clark University and served in the Marine Reserves. Adam had a strong presence and a big heart. He was an EMT and a dedicated member of the Unadilla Fire Department. He was generous with his time and "always there" to help others, especially if a friend needed a hand moving or with computer repairs. Adam had a soft spot for animals and rescued many, which eventually became pets of his friends or family. He also enjoyed playing pool on a traveling league. Adam is survived by his parents, Daniel and Paula Friedman; half-sister, Rebecca Friedman; cherished companion, Lindsay Stott; as well as loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Due to the current COVID conditions, graveside services will be private in Brookside Cemetery, Gilbertsville. A celebration of Adam's life will be planned for warmer weather and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Adam's memory may be directed to the Unadilla Fire Department, or the Delaware Valley Humane Society. Share condolences and memories online at www.landersfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
