Obituary of Kay Lorraine Harrington

Kay L. Harrington 77 of Guilford passed away January 6, 2022 in Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY She was born November 13, 1944, daughter of the late Benjamin and Isabel (Nichols) Barse in Guilford. Kay married Paul E. Harington, Sr. and together they raised four children in Guilford. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved animals especially her pug, Tobey and cat, Tails. Kay and Paul loved to watch their family perform music and enjoyed having coffee with friends at the diner. She is survived by 4 Children – Paul Harrington, Jr,. Sidney Lorraine Newell and George Minor, Guilford Ellen Harrington and Dave Gill, Sidney Center Yvonne "Beaver" and Brian Hartwell, Sr. Unadilla Grandchildren – Paul III and Erin Harrington, Sidney Thomas and Brianna Harrington, Sidney Jeffrey and Rochelle Harrington, Sidney Jessica Hartwell, Sidney Autum and Cody Shackelton, Mt. Upton Brian Hartwell, Jr. Mt. Upton Jeannette and Dave Peck, Gilbertsville, Jeremiah Gill, Sidney Jessica Newell, Sidney Center and 18 Great grandchildren Sister, Winifred Barse Brothers, Harry "Butch" Barse, Mike and Sandy Barse and Fred Barse Sister-in-laws – Melinda Barse, Bonnie Harrington and Aramita Favel And several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends Kay is predeceased by her husband Paul Sr., brother, Bill Barse and grandson Joshua Newell Calling hours for Kay will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at CH Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838 In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Alz.org Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.landersfh.com Arrangements are under the direction of CH Landers Funeral Chapel Sidney.
