Dorothy J. Seymour Bainbridge, NY Dorothy J. Seymour 81 of Bainbridge passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at AO Fox Hospital in Oneonta. She was born July14, 1929, daughter of the late Clair and Carrie (Puffer) Gray in Walton. Dorothy married Philip Seymour on July 29, 1944 in Cannonsville. He predeceased her on January 18, 2005. Together they raised a family and worked the farm. They were dedicated members of the First Baptist Church of Sidney where Dorothy taught Sunday school, vacation bible and AWANA. She is survived by her children: Philip Seymour, Jr. - McDonough Gary Seymour and his wife Linda, Guilford Diane Marble and her Husband Wayne, Binghamton Faith and Ronald Horne, Beaver Creek, OH Lois Cerverizzo and her Husband Larry, Bainbridge 22 Grandchildren, several great and great, great Grandchildren 2 Sisters - Janet McClenathan and Dora Curtin Several nieces, nephews and cousin She is also predeceased by Sisters, Mary, Clarabelle, Donna and Harriet and Brothers, Michael, James, Clair and Jerry. Friends may call Wednesday, August 25, 2010, from 6-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the First Baptist Church 28 River Street Sidney at 11:00 AM Pastor Ken Southworth will officiate. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sidney 28 River St. Sidney, NY 13838 Condolences may be sent online to www.landersfh.com Arrangements by C.H.
