Carolyn Sue Schuman, 76, of Sidney, passed away at home on Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born on June 17, 1945 in Wallace, West Virginia, daughter of the late Corolus and Mildred Woodard.
Carolyn was married to David Schuman on June 23, 1973. She worked in maintenance at The Hospital in Sidney for 31 years until her retirement. Carolyn loved to read, and enjoying tending to her home. She loved pets and animals, especially cats.
In addition to her husband David, Carolyn is survived by extended family in Oswego and Albany, NY, and in West Virginia.
Burial in Sand Hill Cemetery will be private. In honor of her love of animals, memorial donations in Carolyn's memory may be directed to the Delaware Valley Humane Society.
