Alice Holzel of Franklin passed away suddenly Friday, November 12, much too soon by those who love her.
She was born August 20, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY
Alice (Ferretti) and Raymond Holzel were married in 1969 in Ridgewood, NJ.
They retired and soon after moved to Franklin. They loved their little spot in paradise and the people of the community.
Alice was predeceased by Raymond and most of her siblings.
She is survived by sister, Elaine Ferretti of Emerson, NJ, her stepdaughters Judi Lloyd of New Bern, NC and Bobbi Holzel of Colchester, VT and loving friends locally.
Visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, November 16, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at CH Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. in Sidney
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 am from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sidney.
Burial will be in Ouleout Valley Cemetery in Franklin.
Donations can be made to ST. Labre Indian School in Ashland, MT or a charity of your preference.
