Ellen Henchey, 85, of Sidney, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2021. She was born on September 14, 1936 in Garden City, NY to Joseph and Susanna Borke and was predeceased by her husband Joseph. She is survived by her sons: John of Sidney, NY and his 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren; Keith and wife Catherine of East Greenbush, NY and their 3 sons and 5 grandchildren; Todd and wife Tina of Conway, South Carolina and their 2 sons, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; Patrick and his significant other Brenda of Bainbridge, NY and his son, daughter and 4 grandchildren; Joseph Jr. and his wife Josie of Chattanooga, TN and his 2 sons and 2 grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Interment will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla, NY. A celebration of her life will be held immediately following at the Elks Lodge, 104 River St., Sidney.
