Melody A. (Hinman) Langille, 68, lifetime resident of Norwich and vicinity left this world to be with her Loving Savior on September 17, 2021 after a brief illness. Born on December 14, 1952 to Fred and Flossie (Law) Hinman in Norwich NY. She was raised on the family farm near Oxford, attending Oxford Academy and Central School. Working at the Grand Union in Norwich for many years she met and made many friends. She was always busy working for the Lord as a Sunday school teacher, teen leader and ministering with her husband at many nursing home and extended home facilities. She enjoyed life to the fullest until the last few years when she became less able to get around and even then she found ways to find happiness. A strong sense of right and wrong was her nature as she raised her four children, enjoyed her grandchildren and working with youth, most of them calling her grandma. She married Bernard Langille on September28, 1969. She was a devoted wife and loving mother of 4, a daughter Loretta L. (Langille) Donnelly and husband Pastor Frank Donnelly, Bernard (B.J.) Langille, Matthew Langille, and Quentin Langille, 16 grandchildren, Tyler Donnelly, Joel Donnelly, Nicholas Donnelly, Victoria Yaddow Jacob Langille, Colton Langille, Ezra Langille, Candace Hernandez, Dylan Langille, Cheyanne Langille, Brandi Ballard, Kirsten Fink, Damian Fink, Morgan Langille, Isaiah Langille, Mariah Lee Smith, Adam Brazee, Amanda Brazee, Daniel Brazee, and Mackenzie Price, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all special and important to her. Family is where it's at. She is survived by her siblings Janet Law, Mildred Smith and Fred (Bud) Hinman (Thelma) and a special sister in law Pat Hinman. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Flossie Hinman, mother-in-law Shirlee Langille, her brother Pastor Ralph Hinman, sister Norma Matthews, a great granddaughter Jasmine Husted and most recently her grandson Elijah Langille who was tragically killed in a car accident just 3 short weeks ago. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Calling hours will be Friday September 24, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at C.H.
