Obituary of Marie A. Cole

Marie A. Cole Sidney, NY Marie Alice Cole, 90 of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Chenango Memorial Nursing Home in Norwich, NY. Marie was born on June 8, 1920, daughter of the late Elvere and Mattie (Alcott) Weeden in Madison, NY. She graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1938. On March 13, 1943, she married Frank Cole in Norwich. Marie is survived by: Husband of 67 years, Frank W. Cole of Sidney Son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Mildred Cole of Virginia Beach, VA Daughter and son-in-law, Rena and Raymond Doing of Norwich 4 Grandchildren: Stephen R. Doing, Scott M. Doing, Harrison Cole and Ashley Cole 2 Great Grandchildren: Kyya and Rayna Doing 2 Brothers: Ralph Weeden and his wife, Carol of Afton, and James Weeden of Sidney As well as numerous loving and caring nieces and nephews Marie was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Russell Weeden, and three sisters, Anna Norden, Mary Ann Zimmer and S. Elizabeth Wightman. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
