John "Terry" Gray, 78 passed away on July 2, 2021 at Fox Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in 1942 in Bainbridge, NY to Clyde "Pete" Gray and Helen (Cutting) Gray. He was raised in Masonville, NY. He married his true love Judy (Brown) Gray in 1962. They lived and raised their two sons in Masonville. As a family they enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and traveling from state to state on vacations. He loved fixing and building things. He always had a project he was working on. If he could imagine it – he could build it. Folks may remember him touring around in one of his projects: a wooden car named "Woody" complete with Christmas lights for the Holiday season. After renovating their first home, he built their next home from the ground up with the help of his family. John enjoyed local history and talking with his family about it. He enjoyed pranks and jokes. He and Judy loved spending time with their Siberian Huskies – Kodiak and Nukka. He is survived by his wife Judy; his sons: Michael (Michelle) Gray of Bainbridge and Scott (Marie) Gray of Sidney; sister, Bonnie Tripp of Masonville; grandchildren Mia Lawrence, Jeremy (Nichole) Gray, Megan Gray, Eva (Ryan) Jones, Andrew Gray, and Hannah Gray; great-grandchildren Tucker and Magnolia Gray and Ronan Lawrence.
