Obituary of Thomas Martin Lavelle

Thomas Martin Lavelle, son of Eileen Marie Conway and John Martin Lavelle, was born December 6, 1967 in Bronx, New York. Thomas was a social person who thoroughly enjoyed the company of others. Thomas was friendly and fun-loving. His big personality made him a natural people person. He loved expressing himself through his bright wardrobe, fun nail polish, and vibrant hair colors. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to books on tape, and long conversations. Thomas resided at Springbrook's Bird Avenue Community Home in Sidney, NY. He began receiving supports and services from Springbrook in July of 2013 after previously residing at the Broome Developmental Center in Binghamton, NY. He lived happily at the Bird Avenue Community Home, partaking in his favorite activities and making many friends with residents and staff. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents. Thomas passed away peacefully on April 21, 2021, surrounded by his caregivers, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
