Obituary of Michael W. Burlison

Michael W. Burlison BAINBRIDGE—Michael William Burlison, 51, passed away suddenly on April 5, 2021 while doing what he loved, working at the Sidney Golf and Country Club. He was born in Oneonta, NY on July 28, 1969 and resided in Bainbridge for most of his life, graduating from Bainbridge-Guilford Central School in 1987. Mike loved the outdoors and fishing, but was most at home on "the lanes" or on "the course". He loved music and dabbled at playing his various guitars. He also enjoyed relaxing at camp. He is survived by: his mother and stepfather, Karen and Bob Bruning; father and stepmother, Corky and Linda Burlison; sister, Jody Saunders (Eric); stepbrothers: Bob Bruning (Marina), Scott Bruning (Maureen) and Matt Bruning, the loves of his life, his nieces: Shannah Hall and Ariana Hall (Teo); great niece and nephew, Sophia Hall and Nuvian Jones; various stepsiblings in Florida and Rhode Island, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, and uncle, Gene Pringle. Friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 6:00-9:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street, Sidney. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mike's memory may be directed to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, PO Box 182 Sidney, NY 13838, or to the charity of one's choice.
