Don S. Tuttel of Masonville, NY passed away March 6, 2021, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, after a brief illness. He was born in Kennewick, WA on October 14, 1956 to Donald and Nona Jean Tuttel. It was there that he began his career as a union tradesman, pipefitting at the Hanford Site. Next employed by NYSEG for 30+ years, most recently as a business agent for IBEW L.U. 83. Don, like his father, believed in and fought for worker's rights and safety in the workplace. Most important to Don was his family. He was always an avid spectator and fan at all his sons sporting events. He loved camping, in recent years with his grandson and wife. Motorcycle riding was enjoyed with his brothers of the Boozefighters MC. Don is survived by Amy, his wife of 35 years and their children Jared Tuttel (April) of Bainbridge, NY, and Jordan Tuttel (Sara) of Burlington, VT: grandson (best buddy) Blake Tuttel of Bainbridge, NY, brother David Tuttel (Beng) of Washington, parents-in-law Donna and Wayne King of Sidney, NY and Vernon and Nancy Wallace of Bainbridge, NY. Several brothers/sisters- in- law, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held May 8, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Masonville Cemetery, Masonville, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Don's name may be made to American Heart Association, Delaware Valley Humane Society 101 E Main St, Sidney NY or the charity of one's choice.
