Obituary of Nancy L. Hathaway

On Saturday, February 20th, 2021, Nancy Hathaway, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, left this world suddenly. She was born on January 6th, 1952 in Honesdale, PA and grew up in Sidney Center, NY with her parents and 3 siblings. Nancy owned and operated Trackside Dining in Sidney, since 1993 and was a member and supporter of several community organizations over the years. She had a passion for helping others, including being involved with local charity organizations and always sharing a smile and warm words, to brighten someone's day. Her kindness and generosity touched so many lives and her spirit will live on in those she impacted. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Will) Pennell and her 2 grandchildren Liam and Remy, who were her whole world, her siblings, Audrey Hathaway, Wendy (Russ) Langloh, and Sam (Paula) Hathaway, and stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who were family. She was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Amos Hathaway. Friends and family are invited to call at C.H. Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY on Friday, February 26th from 4-6pm.
