Donald W. "Lonnie" Marble Gilbertsville, NY Donald "Lonnie" Marble 48 of Gilbertsville passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. He was born November 23, 1961, son of Kermit and Katherine (Weidner) Marble in Sidney. Lonnie graduated from Sidney Central School in the Class of 1980 and was a member of the 1979 State Champion Basketball team. He worked as a machinist at the Amphenol Corp. in Sidney for 28 years. Lonnie loved sports, especially basketball, football and golf and He always enjoyed annual trips to Lake George. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his friends and family. Lonnie loved a good time and had a way of always making you smile. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends who survive: Wife - Sandra (Hall) Marble, Gilbertsville Son and Daughter-in-law - Jonathan and Brittany Marble, Sidney Parents - Kermit and Katherine Marble - Shell Knob, Missouri Brothers and a sister-in-law - Charlie and Linda Marble, Sidney and their children Shannon and Shane Brother -David Marble, Phoenix, AZ and his children Jennifer, Matt, Abbey and Riley Father and Mother-in-law - Clinton and Laura Hall, Gilbertsville As well as several Brother and Sister-in-laws, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many friends. Friends may call Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 4-7 PM at the Sidney Elks Lodge River Street Sidney. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mooseheart at www.mooseintl.org Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com Arrangements by C.H.
