Marie K. Cutting Sidney, New York Marie K. Cutting 93 a resident at the Vestal Center Nursing Home, Vestal, NY and formerly of Bundy Hollow, Sidney, NY passed away peacefully Saturday evening July 3, 2010. She was born June 18, 1917 in Afton, NY, the daughter of the late George and Lydia (Foote) Knapp. On April 20, 1941 she married Howard E. Cutting in Deposit, NY. He predeceased her on November 17, 2001. Marie was an employee of the Amphenol Corporation of Sidney, NY. She retired in 1978 after 36 years with the company. Marie was a volunteer at the former The Hospital, Sidney, NY for many years. She is survived by: 2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Ronald Cutting of Sidney Samuel and Linda Cutting of Sidney Daughter and son-in-law: Marilyn and Richard Riesen of Binghamton 2 sisters-in-law: Dorcus Cutting Masonville May Gray of Delhi She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her son, Robert Knapp, 3 brothers: Roy, Joseph and George Knapp, and her 2 sisters: Edna Seal and Doris Wilcox. Friends are invited to call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her services at 2:00 pm on Wednesday July 7, 2010 at the C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main Street, Sidney, NY 13838 with Rev. Benjamin Shaw of Sidney officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Bainbridge. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com. Memorial gifts in Marie's name may be made to the Masonville Fire Department or to the Masonville Emergency Squad if desired. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H.
