The Yankees lost their number one fan when Daniel K. Waters passed away unexpectedly October 3rd 2020 at his home in Jacksonville Florida. Dan, a native of Sidney New York, was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Elizabeth Waters. He is survived by his long-time companion Jane Renick, sister Kathryn and brother Richard (Heather) Waters. Dan was the proud Father of Mariah (Justin) and Alexis (Scott) Waters. He was a "bonus" Dad to Jonathan Renick. The next generation (Kayden, Carolina, Alexander, David and Hope) will truly miss an amazing grandfather, while continuing his love for baseball, classic rock, and yard work.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
