Obituary of Helen F. Elwood

Helen F. Elwood passed away peacefully at her home August 16, 2020.
She was born on September 20, 1933 in LaGrange, IN, the daughter of the late John and Emma Atchison Freed.
She was married to Lloyd W. Elwood in Angola, IN on April 10, 1953.
Helen worked for many years at the First National Bank of Sidney and later the NBT branch in Bainbridge.
Helen was a long time faithful member of the Bainbridge and East Guilford Presbyterian Churches.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband Lloyd and her son Daniel Elwood of Norwich and her sister, Elsie Cleverly of Wichita, KS.
She is survived by her son Michael Elwood of Huntington, NY,
Her brother, Lowell Freed and sister, Nancy Northup both of LaGrange, IN
and many beloved nieces and nephews.
It was Helen's long standing request that there be no calling hours or funeral.
