Irene Castner, a long time resident of Broome Developmental family care passed away February 27, 2020 after a brief illness.
Irene was known for her sense of humor, teasing, and the nick names she gave her closest friends.
She was a long term participant in the Maple Leaf day program where she had many friends. She enjoyed latch hook, jigsaw puzzles, going out to eat, and shopping.
Irene took great pride in her appearance. Her nails were always manicured, her hair styled in a bun and she had an extensive collection of jewelry she loved to wear.
Those who knew and loved Irene are better people for having known and loved her. Irene will be dearly missed.
