Obituary of Fred D. Savory

Fred D. Savory January 22, 1960 – February 11, 2020 Fred D. Savory, 60, of Sidney passed away on February 11, 2020. Fred was born January 22, 1960 to Joan Knapp and Reginald C. Savory, Sr. He grew up in the Guilford area and graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford High School. He was a longtime resident of Sidney, where he met the love of his life, Shirley. He spent many years working odd jobs doing lawn care in the summer, and snow removal in the winter. Fred had an infectious smile that lit up his face along with his bright blue eyes. He loved to laugh, good company, and a great cup of coffee. Fred is survived by his siblings: Regina Welch, Corinna (Dan) Oliver, Star (Lowel) Abrams, Reginald (Maureen) Savory, Jr., and Thomas Knapp, as well as many nieces, nephews and beloved family. He was predeceased by his parents, Joan and Stanley Knapp and Reginald C. Savory, Sr., his brother, Rex Utter, and his companion, Shirley.
