Clark "Curly" Davis, 82 of Sidney passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at his home. He was born December 7, 1937, son of the late Richard and Ruby (Russell) Davis in Morris, NY. Curly enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably, and later retired from the Army National Guard. He worked as a machinist for the Bendix Corp in Sidney and Curly volunteered for the Unadilla Fire Department and EMS for many years. Curly was generous, kindhearted and was dedicated car enthusiast. He could be found at all the local car shows driving his 1968 black cadillac convertible with the enormous stuffed animal in the backseat. He is survived by: His children Jerry Davis, CO, Ginger Davis, FL, Lisa Davis, FL and Timothy (Jocelyn) Davis of Glen Falls 3 Sisters, Alberta Wilson, Betty VanDuesen and Jeanne Kadylak 14 grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews He was also predeceased by his Son, Randy and 2 brothers, Doug and Richard, Sister, Nancy LeSuer Friends may call Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 2-5 PM at CH Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney, NY Graveside services with military honors will be in Ouleout Cemetery in Franklin at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be directed to the Sidney Veterans Memorial Park C/O Sidney Community Foundation PO Box 333 Sidney, NY 13838 Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.landersfh.com Arrangements are under the direction of CH.
