Obituary of Stephen Charles Hunt

Stephen C. Hunt, 67 of Bainbridge, NY passed away suddenly on Monday, January 13, 2020. He was born on January 22, 1952, son of the late Charles Wilbur Hunt and Hilda Ireane (Ellett, Hunt, Taylor) VanCamp in Hancock NY.
Stephen served in the Navy as Gunners mate 3rd Class from 1969 to 1971. He spoke fondly of his time in the Navy and the places that he was able to visit.
Stephen enjoyed his family. He worked several occupations after his service including driving truck, construction, marine construction and rigging. He enjoyed shooting, model aircraft and small engine repair in his later years.
He will be missed by his son Adam Hunt of Bainbridge; Daughter Rachel Hunt of Bainbridge; son Cody (Stephanie) Hunt of Alden, NY; Grandchildren: Ethan, Parker and Zoey. Uncle George (Sharon) Hunt of Bainbridge.
Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Charles W. Hunt and Hilda E. VanCamp.
Friends are invited to call from 1:00-3:00pm on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 19th at the funeral chapel. Share memories and condolences with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
