Madeline Rita Duguay, 90 years old, passed away August 3, 2019 after a brief illness, in Norwich Valley View Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by loving family.
Madeline was born in Athol, Massachusetts to Ovide J. and Felice M.(Dugas) Duguay October 23, 1928. She is survived by her devoted brother Francis J. Duguay and wife Alfredine (Godin) Duguay, nephew Daniel F. Duguay and wife Angela (Ciniglia) Duguay, niece Lynda A. Duguay-Michel and husband Charles Michel, and several great nephews and niece.
Madeline will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her love of crafts and activities, and fondness of country music, especially Johnny Cash.
Memorial donations may be made to Norwich Valley View Manor Nursing Home, Attn. Valerie Kennedy, Activities Director, 40 Park Street, Norwich, NY 13815.
Visitation will be held at CH Landers Funeral Home 21 Main St. Sidney, NY Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5-7pm.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church 15 Liberty St. Sidney, NY Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 10am with Fr. Bernard Osei Ampong officiating.
