Obituary of Florence P. Hromada

Florence P. Fink Hromada passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Elizabeth Church Campus in Binghamton, NY. Florence was born on May 14, 1920 in Deposit. In 1939 she married Michael E. Hromada, who predeceased her. Together they raised 8 children.
Florence was a long time member of the Sidney Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and had great faith. Despite her dementia, she was still able to recite the Lord's Prayer.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Schermerhorn (Charles) of Lexington, SC; Donald Hromada (Louise) of Bainbridge, NY; William Hromada (Sharleen) of Clover, SC; Florence Dibble (Ed) of Guilford, NY; Daniel Hromada (Christina) of Bainbridge, NY and Duane Hromada (Deborah) of Bainbridge, NY; daughter-in-law, Nancy Hromada of Afton, NY. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Florence was predeceased by her parents; 7 siblings; sons, Michael and Edward; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery in Afton, NY.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Louis Manor and Elizabeth Church for their care and compassion the past 4 years.
