Robert J. McCann, Sr.
Robert John McCann, Sr., 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Eleanor Nursing Care Center in Hyde Park, NY. He was born on March 16, 1935, son of the late Bernard J. and Anna May (Keefe) McCann in Brooklyn, NY.
On June 25, 1961, he was married to Julia (Christ) McCann who survives. He is also survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Robert, Jr. and Serena McCann, Daniel and Jodi McCann, and Dennis and Jillian McCann; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four brothers: Bernard, Walter, Joseph and Thomas McCann, and by his sister, Theresa Beach.
Burial will take place at a later date this summer in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney. Share condolences and memories with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
