Obituary of Rose Peck

Rose H. Peck, of Rockdale, NY. passed away April 11 in New Berlin, NY. Born June 10,1925 in Rockdale, NY. daughter of Albert G. Herdeker and Ruth L. Herdeker. She was married to Leon Dart June 30, 1946. They had three children Jennifer, Marshall and Alberta. She married George W. Peck of Unadilla NY. September 4, 1966. George preceded her in death on October 6, 1990. She is survived by daughter Jennifer D. O'Malley, husband Bob of Rockdale NY.; Marshall A. Dart II, wife Sueko of VA.; daughter Alberta D. Jeffery, husband Jim Jeffery of Grandville, MI.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her brother Ray Herdeker on March 18, 2013. Rose was a diligent and faithful worker as an executive secretary at Bendix Corp., which later became Amphenol Corp. in Sidney, NY. In 1941 she had been a Chenango County Dairy Princess. She was an active member of Rockdale Community Church. Rose loved the outdoors, grilling and gardening. She loved a variety of music and taught herself to play the piano. At Rose's request, a private family committal service was held at the Mt. Upton NY. Cemetery April 16, 2019.
