Florence Morgan Axtell, 98, of Masonville, passed away peacefully April 1, 2019. Born in Hancock, NY on August 13, 1920, Florence is the daughter of the late Edwin and Vina Morgan. Florence retired after 33 years from Bendix in Sidney, NY.
Florence is survived by her two sons, Keith and Cheryl; Mert and Terry all of Masonville, and her sister, Virginia Grant, Roscoe. Also surviving are five grandchildren and spouses; Kim and Jeff McKown, Masonville; Keith Jr. and Laurie Axtell, Savannah, Georgia; Amy and Richard Reese, Binghamton; Joy and Jerry Foley, Centerville, Ohio; Patti and Jerry Cairns, Acworth, Georgia, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Florence is predeceased by her husband, Ivan John Axtell and her brothers Harold, Leo and Charles Morgan.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being made by C.H. Landers Funeral Home, Sidney, NY.
