Obituary of Brian John Cummings

Brian John Cummings, 43 of Guilford, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 following a brief illness at Rochester General Hospital. He was a loving and kind man who enjoyed Duck Trails and trap shooting. He was also a lifelong fan of wrestling, UFC and MMA. Riding his motorcycle with his wife and children as well as had a big love for fantasy such as dragons, wizards and more. Along with being a bouncer at various bars around the area and ending with his passion of building guns for C.Z. Arms.

His friends would describe him as the life of the party even if there was no party. His spirit always made everyone in the room feel so much better and comfortable and his ongoing love for MEME’s and Welch’s fruit snacks will never die.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amber Cummings, parents John and Sandy Cummings of Sidney, NY and his sister Malisa Cummings. His children Holly (Jacob) Cummings, Bryce Cummings, Airyana Wright and Nevaeh Wright. One grandchild, Natalia Cummings. Along with his two nephews Keegan (Deidra) McCumber, Dylan (Amber) McCumber and one niece Kinzie-May McCumber. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and extended amount of supportive friends.

Predeceased by grandmother May Cummings, grandmother and grandfather Luella and Gleason Puffer. His Aunt Shirley Fletcher, Uncle Thomas Leizear and Aunt Linda Palmatier.

Calling Hours will be held from 5-8pm, Friday, March 22, 2019 at C.H Landers Funeral Chapel in Sidney, NY. Services will be 2pm, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the funeral chapel, with a gathering at the Sidney Moose Lodge directly after.
