Betty Ann Newell, 74, of Sidney passed away peacefully on the morning of October 11th, 2018, after battling cancer. She was born on January 1st, 1944 to the late Florence and Charles Kelly in Hornell, NY. Betty married Roland E. Newell on August 18th, 1962. He predeceased her early this year. She is survived by her: Children: Robert (Maria) Newell, Daryl (Christine) Newell, Sheila (David) Coe, and Brian Newell. Long time friends now family: Aaron, Val, Catlin and Cassie Richter. 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren: Destiny(Chris) Tremblay, Megan (Levi) Owens, Josh (Celsea) Newell, Matthew Newell, Madison Coe, Bailey Coe, Emma Newell, Benjamin Newell, Lincoln Tremblay, and Selah Owens. A Brother and 4 Sisters: John (Robyn) Smith, Margaret Johnson, Carolyn (John) Criss, Kathy Ferguson, Bonnie (Tom) Welch. As well as many friends at the Sidney Senior Village. She enjoyed shopping, word search, and time with family and friends. She will be missed. Friends may call Monday, October 15th, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 3pm at CH Landers Funeral Home 21 Main St., Sidney, NY.
