Dawn Tranvaag, 72, of Bainbridge, NY lost her battle with cancer on September 13, 2018 surrounded by her husband and 6 children.
Dawn was a mother first. She loved spending time with her family, tending to her flower gardens, and sewing. She was known for her big heart, giving nature, and infinite wisdom.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Theodore Tranvaag, as well as her children Stacey Paden (daughter) of Sidney, NY, Shannon Baxter (daughter) of Harpursville, NY, Lincoln Tranvaag (son) of Sidney, NY, Selena (daughter) and Michael Palmatier of Kingfield, ME, Sabrina Drown (daughter) of Guilford, NY, Sonja (daughter) and Adam Rusweiler of Sherburne, NY, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Adolph and Dorothy Buzzy of Oneonta, NY.
The family wishes to have a private "Celebration of Life" to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
