William Dorak, 82, of Bainbridge, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. William lived in Bainbridge for 47 years with his family and had his own business, Bainbridge Window Cleaning, for 30 of those years. He loved spending time in the woods and hunting with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Smith and her husband, Carsten of Bainbridge; his daughter, Tracy Weaver, her son James Taylor and her husband, David of Decatur, TX; grandchildren, Mary and Nicholas Dorak of Binghamton; long time companion Lynn Martin of Bainbridge; a brother, Henry Carl of Oviedo, FL; a sister, Gail Smith of Susquehanna, PA; a sister-in-law, Rose Dorak of Endicott and a sister, Joanne Godette of New Jersey.
He was predeceased by his son, Allen Dorak; his wife, Ellen Dorak; and his brothers, Patrick, Charles, Robert and Louis Dorak.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 beginning at 1:00pm at the Sidney American Legion, 22 Union Street Sidney, NY 13838.
