Marilyn Lois Bump Heath Sidney, NY Marilyn passed away peacefully on December 8, 2017, at the age of 85, with family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frederick W. Heath, and sons: Jeffrey (Darlene), Alabama, John, Unadilla, Joseph (Beverley), Florida and Kevin (Alan), California; her beautiful grandchildren: Monica (Ben), Florida, John (Samantha), Georgia, Alicia (Abel), Florida, Lindsey (Andrew), Florida, Joey (Courtney), Florida, Jeffrey (Susanna), Texas, Margaret, Kyle (Alabama), Pam (Josh), New York, and Heather (Fernando), Florida; and many wonderful great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Polly Bump and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, William Harvey Bump and Mildred Rosalind Marble Bump; Grandparents; foster mother, Pearl Mushtare; brother, Richard Bump; sister, Emily Smith, and sister, Shirley Sullivan. She was born April 20, 1932 in Guilford, NY. Marilyn graduated from Mt. Upton Central School as valedictorian in 1950 and married Frederick on Aug 9, 1952. They had many happy years together with the love of their family. She worked for Chris G. Bickos, the former Delaware Federal Savings Bank and Gelder Medical Group until her retirement. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Sidney where she was the past treasurer and auditor. She loved doing crossword puzzles reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly for many things, including her laughter, potato salad and chocolate chip cookies. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Cancer Society or Veterans Memorial Park in Sidney. Share condolences with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
