Albert H. Hulcher
Otego—Albert H. Hulcher, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017. He was born on August 22, 1926, son of the late Albert and Mildred (Hough) Hulcher in Sussex, NJ. He enlisted in the US Coast Guard in August 1944 and served until his honorable discharge in 1946.
He worked as a butcher, mechanic and Shop Foreman for H. L. Airs in Middletown, NY. On January 29, 1969, he was married to Mary Kwacz. They moved from Middletown and together they started a dairy farm. In the 1980s, he worked as an auto mechanic for Whitaker & Sons in Sidney, retiring in 1988.
Albert loved being around animals, and being on the farm.
He is survived by: his half sister, Janet (Ray) Rembe of Alaska; daughter, Sandy (Joe) Cromwell of Maine, son, Michael (Brenda) Hulcher of Otego; grandson, Joseph Cromwell and great-grandson, Richard Cromwell both of Massachusetts.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; son, Albert, Jr., and brother, Harvey Hulcher.
