Madeline Pysnik
Madeline Pysnik, 93, formerly of Cairnbrook, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her home in Sidney, NY. She was born on March 11, 1924 in Terra Alta, West Virginia, daughter of James Alva Sanders and Sarah Jane (Armstrong) Sanders-Champanella.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jacob, and beloved son, David. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Helen Gorsuch and Maxine Kuzina; brothers, Charles (Bud) Sanders, Darrell (Pete) Sanders and Frank Champanella; niece, Carole Berkebile and nephews, John Gorsuch and Buddy Sanders.
Madeline is survived by: grandchildren: Beth, Eric, Stephen, Mary and Annie; great-grandchildren: Andrew, Christian and Aiden. Also survived by daughters-in-law Gaby and Jean, and several nieces and nephews including Robert (Aldine) Gorsuch and Joseph (Diane) Pysnik; as well as dear friends, Catherine (Kusha) Haggerty, Barbara and Bill Kuzupas and Larry Hutchinson.
Dedicated wife and devoted mother, Madeline "Mickey" was a member of Graef's Lutheran Church in Cairnbrook. She enjoyed happy memories of Sunday drives and good coffee from McDonalds.
Friends may call from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral chapel with Rev. Ben Shaw officiating. Graveside services will take place in McGregor Cemetery in Cairnbrook, PA on Friday, June 30th at 1:00pm. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
