Kay I. Sandoli
Nineveh—Kay I. Sandoli, 53, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City. She is survived by her husband, Denny Sandoli; son, Daniel and daughter, Katie; her parents, Marguerite and Duane Wakeman and her adopted sister, Barb Fiske and her husband and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother, Sam.
Kay graduated from Afton Central and Cobleskill College with a degree in computer programming. She was employed by IBM and the New York State Police as a TSLED operator, setting up her own office in Dryden, NY. Presently, she was caregiver to her parents. Prior to that, she was the farmer's daughter, happily working on Wakeman's Vegetable and Pumpkin Farm.
She was one who was always content in her surroundings. Her most precious possessions were her family. Although she dealt with poor health all her life, Kay never once complained of her limitations. She enjoyed helping the less fortunate and had a "twinkle" in her eye as she gave gifts.
She was so proud of her son, Daniel, as he went out into the world on his first job, and so thankful to the Franziska Racker Center for the care of their autistic daughter, Katie.
She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and anyone who crossed her path in life.
