Doris Jeanette Stone of Sidney passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Gilmour Nursing Facility in Norwich, NY. Doris was born to William and Ethel Corgnell on May 9, 1926. Doris will be remembered with love by her sons Roger (Karen) Corgnell of Greene, NY; Murray C. Stone and partner Kim McEntyre of Greeley, CO; daughters Donna Brennan of Binghamton, NY; Gloria J. "Jennie" Hayden of Greeley, CO; Rosemary L. (Joseph) Mirabito of Sidney, NY; her devoted friends Jerry and Millie Turner and family of Greene, NY; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris requested no funeral be held for her. The family believes the highest tribute to Doris' life would be to sprinkle bird seed or bread crumbs outside for the animals Doris so deeply loved.
